Tuition: Tuition is payable monthy on or before the 5th of each month.  Tuition is based on the number of classes taken per week.  There will be a $10.00 late fee charge for any late payments.  There will be NO REFUNDS or ADJUSTMENTS in tuition due to illness or vacation. Tuition will not be adjusted due to holidays.  There is a non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 due at time of registration.  There will be a $25.00 charge for any returned checks.  Tuition may be paid by cash, money order or checks.

Withdrawals: A 30 Day written notice must be given for any student withdrawing from class.  If you withdraw your child without this notice, there will be a $25.00 Charge

Referrals: Refer a new student to Melissa's Academy and receive $5.00 off of the next month's tuition.  You must fill out a referral sheet to receive this credit.

Attendance: Regular attendence is extremely important! There will be no make up class available. Excessive absences will result in possible change in class level and / or removal from performances.  Please call the studio if you know your child will not attend class.  Students will be awarded at the end of th year for PERFECT ATTENDANCE.

Dress Code: Proper dress for class is extremely important! Teachers need to be able to see dancers body placement to give correction.  Please the following list to ensure that your child is dressed appropriatly.  Hair should be secured  away for the face and jewelry need to be leff at home.

  1. 3-6 Yr. Old- Any color leotard, tights, black tap shoes and pink ballet shoes.  Need to have elastic in all tap shoes.
  2. 7 Yr. Old and Up- A solid colored leotard, tights, wrap skirt, black tap shoes, black jazz shoes and pink ballet shoes
  3. Tumbling Classes All Ages- Any color leotard. Students may wear footless tights or shorts (NO T-SHIRTS) Students need to be barefooted
  4. Cheerleading Classes All Ages- Any color leotard & shorts or T-Shirts tucked in shorts and good athelete tennis shoes.

Holidays- All holidays are posted in advance.  If Taylor school is canceled due to snow or bad weather, then the studio will be closed as well.  Classes will begin Monday, August 13, 2007 and will observe the following holidays:

Labor Day

Friday, August 31 - Monday, September 3

Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 21 - Sunday, November 25

Christmas

Friday, December 21 - Sunday, January 7

Spring Break

Monday, March 17 - Saturday, March 22

Parents Day- Parents day will be the week of December 17-20.  Parents may observe their child only during their class time.  Our Christmas party will take place at the time as well

Annual Recital- Our tenative dates for our annual recital is June 13-14. Participation is optional but highly encouraged.  The performance will involve 2 fees: A costume fee - we will order costumes the end of November and payments will be due by December 1.  A recital fee - This will be due in April.

Fund Raisers- We will have 2 major fund raisers this year.  Participation is optional.  These fund raisers are used to help off set the cost of the costumes and recital fee.

-We ask that you drop your child off at class and pick up at the end of class

-Due to the limited space, please do not enter the studio until the class has been dismissed.

-No Gum or Candy allowed in class!

-Please put your child's name in all of their belongings.

-It is your responsibilty to see that your child comes in and out of the studio.
